Biography: One of Lee Clark's first signings at Huddersfield Town, Ainsworth arrived at the club in January 2009 from Watford, having played against Town the previous month whilst on loan at Hereford United. He had impressed manager Lee Clark in that fixture but ultimately only lasted a year at the club before he was sold to Shrewsbury Town in 2010. Ainsworth later played for Rotherham United and Motherwell but is now playing for Plymouth Argyle having been at the club since 2017.
