Biography: Born on 17th April 1990 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia. His father had been a professional footballer in the Yugoslavian First Division before moving his family to Sweden. Astrit took on Swedish nationality and has appeared for his adopted country at Under 21 level. Liverpool gave him the chance to play in England after a successful trial but he returned home after stops at Leicester City and Hereford United but having played only half a dozen league games in total. Now on the books of top Swedish side, IFK Norrkoping.
