Birthplace: South Shields, Tyne and Wear

Position: Defender

Biography: Armstrong signed for Huddersfield Town from Nottingham Forest in 1999 and is best remembered for being part of the 2001-02 promotion push under Lou Macari. Moved on to Sheffield Wednesday after Town had lost to Brentford in the playoffs. Went on to manage in non-league with Eastwood Town and Quorn and also worked as Elite Development Coach at his first club, Nottingham Forest. He is now working as a Regional co-ordinator for Arsenal.
