Ayris, Johnny I worked with Johnny at Selfridges (1979/80) I can honestly say he was THE nicest guy to work with - never mentioned his previous career to me, I only found out from a co-worker - always first with the funniest quips and extremely popular with staff and customers alike. Kind regards to you Johnny ..... wherever you are?

Ayris, Johnny Tremendous player. Would had been one of West Ham's best if it hadn't been for Ron Chopper Harris bringing him down and ruining his career with a nasty ankle injury.

Ayris, Johnny I was a year behind Johnny at Grammar School. As well as being a great footballer, he was also a great athlete. For a short man, he was a great high hurdler. I remember the school sports where he pipped Jimmy Brown in the hurdles final. Jimmy was also a great footballer.
