Biography: Dave was a distinguished non-league player, winning ten caps for England as a semi-pro, before becoming professional. He ran a highly successful insurance business prior to being appointed assistant manager and then Manager at Wimbledon. In six very colourful years, he guided them from the fourth to first division Leaving on a high (sixth in the first division), 'Harry' decided to accept a new challenge and left for Watford went onto have an eight year spell at Sheffield United before returning to Crystal Palace in early 1996 where he previously had a short spell.(Missed the Dons first ever league game through suspension)
