Biography: Defender who progressed through the youth ranks at Tottenham, and went on to play 330 league games for them. He was awarded a testimonial in 1974 but the high profile game against Bayern Munich apparently ended up losing money due to the cost of staging the match. Retired in 1980 after a stint in America and a few games for Crewe. Then split his time between his home in Devon and Surrey, where he ran a car hire business in West Drayton. A member of Spurs 1971 UEFA Cup winning side, Beal still acts as a match day host at White Hart Lane.
