Biography: An incredibly talented winger who was voted Oxford United's 'player of the 90s' and considered by some to be the club's best ever player. His promise made him hot property and led to an ill-fated £1 million move to West Ham in June 1994. He was homesick and never played a first team game before moving back west to join Swindon Town for £850,000 soon afterwards. Returned 'home' to Oxford in 1995 and added 284 appearances to his previous tally of 145 before retiring from the game in 2002. it was a shock to the football world when it was announced that he died on 19th February 2022 at the age of 50.
