Belfitt, Rod Does anyone know where Rod Belfitt (formerly of Leeds United FC) lives now? I would like to contact him regarding his 1968-69 league championship contribution.

Belfitt, Rod Under the new league appearances guidelines, agreed between the Premier League and the EFL, Rod should be eligible for a backdated First Division championship-winning medal from his time at Leeds during the 1968-69 season. He probably knows this anyway as Leeds are looking into the backdated medals situation. But maybe not?

Belfitt, Rod Rod was a draughtsman at Cementation Mining in Doncaster. He was a such a polite, friendly person - he still could play football as well.

Belfitt, Rod He is my Uncle. My mother Diane was his sister. Never met him - unfortunately.

Belfitt, Rod Rod is my Dad's uncle by marriage with him having married my grandmother's sister, Shirley Reddish. I have memories from the mid to late 90s of going to Uncle Rod's and Aunty Shirley's with my dad and brothers and playing football in their garden. I also remember uncle Rod asking me and my brothers questions like "if the ball strikes the corner flag is it still in play or a corner? Being born in 1988 I wasn't too old in the mid 90s but I remember him looking similar but older to his images on Google, always in shape and a happy man. Over time the family has drifted and I think I last saw him at my grandparents funeral back in 2010.
My dad also likes to recall that in the early 80s when he first started going out clubbing he got out of a few scrapes by telling lads his uncle was Rod Belfit and rather than getting punched having drinks bought for him!
