Bennion, Stan I worked at Cheshire County Council with Stan for around 8ys 1986-1994. Absolute pleasure, Stan made everyones day a little easier with his fantastic sense of humour and im sure if asked, Stan would be in absolutely everyones top 3 favourite workmates! I also had the pleasure of playing alongside him in a one off Council 5-a-side tournament, although the rest of us were in our twenties, if was fair to say at around 55 at the time, he was by far our best player. We were both keen Liverpool followers and would spend each Monday morning going through what went wrong... afterall it was the Souness management era in the early nineties! A very proud man, always kept himself very fit, was the kind of man you think will just go on forever. Will never forget Stan, i have many presonal memories that will always make me smile!
