Biography: Bevan began his career at hometown club Southampton as an amateur schoolboy player. He turned pro in 1997 but never made the grade at The Dell. Goalkeeper Bevan had better success elsewhere, though, as he played for Stoke, Woking, Huddersfield, AFC Wimbledon, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers. Having retired at the end of 2017 after almost 300 domestic games, Bevan has since coached keepers at Pompey and Birmingham City as well as set up a coaching academy called Premier 21 with fellow former keeper Darryl Flahavan (http://premier1.co.uk/).
