Birthplace: Stenhousemuir, Scotland

Position: Midfielder

Biography: A £350,000 move from Hearts brought this Scottish midfielder south of the border to Portsmouth in 1989. Was a regular starter before returning to Scotland to play the greater part of his career. Later became assistant manager and coach for, amongst others, Motherwell, Leicester City and the Scottish national team. Returned to Bradford City for a second spell as Assistant Manager to Stuart McCall between February and December 2020.
