Position: Central defender

Biography: A central defender born on 22nd June 1957 in West Ham, where his father John played for the famous West Ham team of the 1950s and 1960s, along with Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and a certain Harry Redknapp. Started out at Bournemouth where his father was manager, before following him to Norwich before a short spell in the NASL, before joining the Family firm again at Manchester City. He then Joined Saints in 1984 where he played for four years, He then returned to Bournemouth as his playing career came to a close. He then embarked on a Manergerial/Coaching career at Manchester City, Wrexham, Altringham and Stafford Rangers. He then Joined Alan Ball as Coach at Portsmouth, A role he later returned to under Harry Redknapp, which then saw the pair moving to Southampton and then back to Portsmouth. Bond then moved to Newcastle as Assistant Manager a role that lasted less than four months, however he soon found himself back at Bournemouth this time as manager, however following their relegation to League Two, he was to be sacked following a poor start to the 2008-2009 season, Within a Month he had again linked up with Harry Redknapp, this time at Tottenham where he is currently employed as assistant manager.
