Biography: A midfield player he played in the Football League between 1966-85. In total he made 552 league appearances for his six clubs. He went on to the coaching staff at Hull City before becoming Assistant Manager then Caretaker Manager in 1988. Between 1992-93 he was manager at Stafford Rangers. Since then he has coached at a number of league clubs returning to Carlisle United in 2007 as coach/Assistant Manager/Head of Football Affairs. He left the club in April 2013.
