Biography: A goalkeeper who played 435 games in the Football League between 1961-74. 222 of those games were for Shrewsbury Town. He played non league football for Oswestry Town and then managed them. He had no real interest in staying in the game and went on to run a newsagents in Shrewsbury. For the past 35 years he has run a successful company supplying Juke Boxes,Pool Tables and One Armed Bandits to pubs and clubs. As a player he was a fanatical trainer and he still goes on training runs. He lives in Shrewsbury.

Boswell, Alan Alan played at Bolton Wanderers he was a great guy and was close to the fans he came to the supporters club one night when our dart team was playing a match,after the game he had a game himself with the Bolton fans he was a great bloke and I bet he still is all the best Alan
