Position: Left-back

Biography: By the time Bowen had retired from playing, he had already built up a small ammount of coaching experience with Reading. He was soon made part of the coaching staff for the Welsh national team and went on to work as a coach for Crystal Palace and Birmingham City. In 2004 he became assistant manager of Blackburn Rovers, and followed Mark Hughes to Manchester City in 2008. He left City in December 2009, when Hughes was sacked.
