Biography: A strong, well built inside forward he was brought to the club from Spurs by Ted Drake, for £20,000 plus Les Allen in December 1959, but like the team he was came into he struggled and despite keeping faith with him for a Drake eventually sold him to Brentford. After football, worked a brokers messenger in the City and now lives in retirement in Kent. His son Shaun played for Leyton Orient and Crystal Palace.
