Biography: Arguably one Pompey's brightest ever players. Burgy earned a BA honours degree in History as well as possessing an intelligent style of play! Paul Cook prised him away from Peterborough United despite only being one year into a four year contract. Very quickly became a regular fixture and fans' favourite. It was a sad day when he chose to accept the challenge of playing for Union SG in Belgium shortly after being voted Pompey's 2020 Player of the Season.
