Burley, George George Burley made his debut for Ipswich against Man Utd at Portman Rd. He marked George Best. Ipswich won the game and Best was marked off the park.I think He was 17 years old at the time. I think He later Captained Ipswich. He later managed Ipswich and won promotion to Premiere League via Div 1 playoff beating Barnsley at Wembley He took them into Europe first attempt. He was sacked a few years later when they were relegated back to Div 1. He was capped by Scotland many times and played in one of the World Cups.A Sorry I can't give any dates.
