Birthplace: Kingswood

Position: Attacking midfielder

Biography: An England U23 midfielder signed by Ted Bates in 1962, who scored a goal every three games in his two tears at the Dell, before moving on to Crystal Palace. At the end of his league career he returned to his hometown of Bristol and took the player coach role of nearby Bath City, then England Youth Coach, and then held several roles at Bristrol City including Youth Director and caretaker manager. He died aged 69 from a heart attack in 2009.

Burnside, David Watched him at Old Trafford. Nobody in England could juggle a ball like him. As well as being a good footballer, a friend of Les Wilson's.
