Biography: After retiring in 1997, Cantona competed in beach soccer until 2008, playing for and being the captain of the French international beach soccer team. Aside from this he has become a television and movie actor, notably appearing in the 2009 film Looking for Eric about a fanatical Manchester United fan who suffers hallucinations of Cantona.
