Position: forward

Biography: The scorer of the goal against Millwall that maintained United's Second Division status in 1933-1934 to fully repay his £2,000 transfer fee. He then played 17 games two seasons later when they were League Champions, before leaving for a stint in West London with Queens Park Rangers. Briefly held the post of reserve team trainer at Carlisle United but he had worked as an electrician before turning professional and returned to the trade during the war and when he retired.
