Position: Half-back

Biography: At 5ft 5in, Thomas Cleghorn probably ranks as one of the shortest ever league players but it did not prevent him from carving out a respectable career. After four seasons with Liverpool, the tenacious half-back became a member of Pompey's first ever team. Moved on to coach Plymouth in 1903. Died on October 23rd 1946 in Lanark, Scotland.
