Biography: Dublin born striker who won 26 Irish Republic caps. Spent eleven years at Stoke City following his move from Glentoran in 1967. Set up his own insurance business in Ashton-Under-Lyne. He was appointed welfare officer for the Football Association of Ireland in November 200 having previously undertaken PA work at Stoke's Britannia Stadium . (Scored Stoke's first goal in the 1972 League Cup final)
