Biography: Manchester U, Sunderland, Birmingham C, Wrexham, Manchester C, Wigan Athletic, Sheffield Wed, Grimsby T, Sheffield Wed. Came through the ranks at Old Trafford scoring the penalty that won the 1995 FA Youth Cup. Made his league debut against Bolton in the same season. Tipped for a bright future at the club but had the misfortune to want to play on the right side of midfield, the same position as his former youth team pal, David Beckham. Had several spells out on loan before being sold to City for £1million in March 1999. After being released by Wednesday, he headed to the MLS where he played for Colorado Rapids for four seasons before he was freed, and has played for North Queensland Fury since 2009.
