Biography: Nick was signed for £250,000 despite never having played a game for York and is in United's history books for having the shortest team career when he replaced Raimond van der Gouw for the final 80 seconds of a 2-1 victory at Arsenal in 1999. After being forced to retire in 2005 through a knee injury, he came out of retirement in August 2010 to play for Evo-Stick Division One North club, Radcliffe Borough.
