Biography: Young Scottish bred Inside Forward signed as a 17 year old from Cleland Juniors amateur side.Signed by Walter Galbraith moved to Accrington and lived in digs.Played in the famous all 11 x Scottish team ever to play in the English league. He was a small stocky tenacious tackler, with a good turn of speed, ran for everything, often described by opponents as the worst player to play against in a game never left you alone. Still alive approaching 78 and lives nearby in a town called Whalley with his wife Mattie.
