Kevin Dearden

Clubs played for: Luton Town, Tottenham Hotspur, Cambridge United (loan), Hartlepool (loan), Oxford United (loan), Swindon Town (loan), Peterborough United (loan), Hull City (loan), Rochdale, Birmingham City (loan), Portsmouth (loan), Brentford, Barnet (loan), Huddersfield Town, Wrexham, Torquay United (1988-2005)

Born: 1970

Birthplace: Luton

Position: Goalkeeper

Biography: Rather unkindly nicknamed "The Flying Pig". A much travelled 'keeper and former Spurs junior, Dearden added Pompey to the list of clubs that he had joined on loan (the 10th at that point!) but left again without making a first team appearance. He did go onto play over 400 league games and then use this considerable experience to coach young goalies at Brentford, Millwall and Luton.
