Biography: A tough tackling midfield player he played in the Football League between 1980-97. He made 581 league appearances for his three clubs. He finished his playing career at non league Southport. He then started up a home improvement company Astraglaze based in Liverpool which he still owns. He is also a co commentator at football games for Radio Lancashire. He lives in Southport.
