Biography: Was bought by The Hammers from non league Southall, and he went onto play for England, career was all but ended with a serious Achilies tendon injury. In 2011, Alan became manager of Blue Square Premier side Braintree Town. He was previously manager of Maidenhead United and Hampton & Richmond Borough in the Conference South. (FA Cup winner with West Ham in 1980)
