Biography: In 2006, Dodd was appointed manager of non-league Eastleigh, before returning to Southampton as a first team coach. He briefly became caretaker manager for the club but left a year after returning. He then joined the coaching staff at Aldershot Town and was also given the manager's job on a caretaker basis, but despite being amongst the favourites for the job, he returned to Southampton as an academy director.
