Doyle, Bobby I worked with Bob when we drove for the same company, he was a smashing. I didn’t know he had died as I retired many years ago. RIP mate.

Doyle, Bobby Remember going to Everton to see him play for Blackpool. He had a fabulous game and won a terrific tussle with Asa Hartford who was a wonderful player and certainly no shrinking violet when it came to tackling. One of the best players to play for Blackpool fc and there have been a few. RIP Bobby

Doyle, Bobby Robert played the age below me at St Patricks high school Dumbarton and was such a good player he often played in our age group. Along with some others he was also tremendous at 3’s in the gym which Jack Gilroy coached us so well. Lost touch when we left school but was really saddened to her of his passing but I was pleased to hear he went on to have a successful professional career down in England. RIP Robert

Doyle, Bobby I was at school with Rab in Duntocher and Dumbarton. Chazza Mcgarvey above is very kind but correct Robert was excellent but a nice guy In my memory. I’ve been at Blackpool Barnsley and Pompey over the years and fans were pleased I knew Robert and gave me a warm welcome. RIP Rab

Doyle, Bobby I remember Robert at St Mary's and St Pats Dumbarton. Always a really nice guy and a class player. I followed his career, he did go to Barnsley but I particularly remember him setting up a goal for Alan Bailey - Pompey I think against Fulham which was shown on telly a lot during a promotion season. RIP Rab

Doyle, Bobby The footballer Bobby Doyle passed away 26th February 2019. The young lad has obviously made a mistake. Saw him play many times for Barnsley during the dark days of the 70's. Always gave everything for the club, he was the kind of player the Reds fans loved.

Doyle, Bobby I spent six years in Robert 's company in St Patrick's and have to say that he was the best player I played with although he was in the team above me He was a product of Jack Gilroy and the 3 s in the gym. He was a clever, funny guy. RIP Robert.

Doyle, Bobby He played for Barnsley as I started to watch them on a regular basis. He had a tremendous shot. He was our penalty taker and didn't mess about trying to place it. The goalkeeper was well advised to get out of the way. I remember him scoring one on the last home game of 74/75 against Southport and he looked like he needed to be elsewhere playing for a better team. Saw him play midfield for a very good Hull City team beat Barnsley 4-1 at Oakwell. Looked a class player. RIP Bobby Doyle.

Doyle, Bobby Bobby Doyle is my grandfather and he sadly passed away on the 24th of September this year (2012). I really miss him and he was the greatest person I knew. R.I.P xxxx
Doyle, Bobby I knew Bob Doyle socially in the early 70's he was really polite level headed footballer, not like a lot of the players kicking a ball around today.
I lost touch when he moved on from Barnsley but was shocked when I read the comment listed by his grandson.
Is this the same Bob Doyle who played for Barnsley FC until 1976?
DOYLE, Bobby I went to St.Mary's Primary School in Duntocher with Robert Doyle
