Jimmy Dunn

Born: 1922

Birthplace: Rutherglen, Lanarkshire, Scotland

Position: Full-back

Biography: Continued to live in Leeds, his adopted home since signing pro terms at Elland Road in 1947. Appeared in 443 first team games and then worked for the post office until his retirement in 1987. Died on 24th January 2005. (Played in the Services Cup Final during World War Two)

Dunn, Jimmy I met Mr Dunn towards the end the 80's at his home in the Heaths. He signed a book for me. He was amused that the photo of him in Martin Jarred and Malcolm MacDonalds' book 'Leeds United a complete record' was not him. Very humble. Will be missed.
