Edgar, Eddie I new Eddie through playing football where we lived on Hedworth estate Jarrow. I believe after Newcastle, he went to New York Cosmos. While there the rumour was that he was given a pair of football boots off Pele. I played in a cup final for Jarrow for Jarrow Alberta club in the 70s and he was in goal for Hebburn side.
