Duncan Edwards

Birthplace: Dudley, Worcestershire

Position: Left-half

Biography: Potentially one of the best players that the world may have ever seen, Duncan was killed in the Munich air disaster, dying in his sleep in February 1958. He was only aged 21 but had already won three FA Youth Cup winners medals, two League Championship medals, FA Cup runners up medal, two charity shield trophies. Two stained glass windows are dedicated in his memory at St Francis Church in his home town of Dudley. (Played 18 times by England prior to his death)
