Elliott, Shaun I did not meet Shaun during his playing days at Roker Park but I can say without question that he was the finest defender I have even seen in a red and white striped shirt. In an era of slow, no nonsense centre halves, Shaun stood out due to his speed, dexterity and passing ability.
