Biography: Married the daughter of the Preston Chairman! Mike played a total of 201 league games for the Lancashire club in two spells. Had to retire through injury at the age of 27 and ran a dairy just outside the town.

Elwiss, Mike Played with Mike for 3 yrs in the Doncaster youth league from being 15 yrs old for the Tech College.
We both scored 25 plus a year and for 2 years beat him by 1 or 2.He always had that extra pace
than me and was soon noticed and picked up by the Rovers.
