Birthplace: Pollok, Glasgow, Scotland

Position: Midfielder

Biography: A midfielder who played in the Football League between 1962-78.He is best remembered for his time at Southampton & he was substitute in the 1976 F.A.Cup Final.This was due to injury & he had featured in the earlier rounds. After playing non league football in Hampshire for a couple of seasons he retired in 1980. He worked as a sales rep for Schweppes before moving on to Watneys & then to Newcastle Courage. A keen golfer he retired in 2009. He lives with his wife in Bishops Waltham.

Fisher, Hugh Hi. I grew up with Hugh and his big brother Peter. He was not know as Hugh but Shummie. Great family. We used to meet on Sunday morning on our way to chapel. Hope all is well Shummie. I look back on these days with fondness - am still following The Glasgow Celtic the Timalloys. James Cleary.
