Biography: Managed Gillingham, Waterford United, and was assistant manager at Margate until 2007. Took over as Caretaker Manager of Ryman League side Maldon & Tiptree in 2012.

Flanagan, Mike Mike trained our church side (under 11s) - I thought he was ace, as did my sister Maureen, who is the same age as Mike. He also is known to my brother Michael and I remember them playing tennis at the local park.

Flanagan, Mike Mike had family in my hometown of Bandon in county Cork and used to come over often. I remember him as being a lovely guy who would have a kickabout with us in our improvised pitch. We all followed his career with interest and would like to wish him well today.
