Biography: Australian international who may well have stayed longer had it not been for the fact that the club was in administration and had to reduce their wage bill (sound familiar?). As one of the higher earners he was allowed to join Crystal Palace on a free transfer. He played in south London until 2000 when he returned home to Oz. Payed out the rest of his career with Northern Spirit FC before retiring in 2003. Foster is now a commentator for the Special Broadcasting Service but still plays amateur football for Sydney University FC.
