Biography: Aussie defender who started playing in Sydney before taking his boots on a world tour. His career took in stops at Dutch giants Ajax and the Japanese A-League before West Ham tempted him to these shores. He struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premiership and was given a free transfer after only 12 games. Harry Redknapp had also recently left the club and persuaded the Australian international to join him on the south coast. Became a first team regular and was an integral part of the side that won the First Division title in 2002/3. A bone fracture in his foot the following year sabotaged his run and kept him out of the game for the next season and a half. During this time Alain Perrin had taken over as boss and chose not to renew his expired contract. Returned home to Australia in 2007. Now on the books of his hometown club Sydney FC.
