Frodsham, Ian Remember playing against Ian a few times in the walton and kirkdale league. Played for a team from Kirkby way and was technically one of the best players I faced. This was before the new Academy system was in place when all players played on a Sunday morning. Should still be that way at least one day on the weekend for me when the kids should be allowed to play with their mates and play for fun up to at least the age of 13-14. Top player and would have been great to play alongside the lad. Very sad that the lad died so young too.
