Gauden, Allan Allan worked at Hogh Mackays Carpet Factory in Durham City in the 1960s when I worked there. At that time he was on the books of Sunderland FC. He was a good man and I have just found out he had died. He was 75, the same age as me now. RIP Allan

Gauden, Allan Allan was my team mate at Sunderland A.F.C. Also my grooms man when we were both 21 year olds. Both me and my wife Rosemary send our condolences to his family, both sad to hear of his passing. We always thought Alan a very pleasant guy.
