Gidman, John Ask Giddy to contact me before I can give you the rest of the story. He was at Everton and had a Skoda with Everton and his name on the side in big letters. He asked me to me keep it for a few days while he went to London. In the meantime, I was out in it one night and ended up staying over in a local Liverpool hotel with a nice lady who I just met that night, so who was I, I was John Gidman who plays for Everton.

as i was getting out of the car outside of the hotel, as John Gidman, i started getting a hard time and abuse from 3 men who are obviously Liverpool supporters thinking I was John Gidman so things kicked off, so to speak. Giddy is my mate so I have to defend him!. to cut a long story short, the next morning the Police arrived at Goodison Park to arrest John Gidman for beating up the 3 men. Giddy will tell you the rest.

Gidman, John My husband and John were good friends when he played for Villa. I often think about him but lost touch. We had some good times looking after his Labrador 'Scouse' while he was away at times. Love to hear from him. Val Sadler, Sydney Australia (email supplied)
