Biography: Jimmy Glass is best remembered for being the goalkeeper who scored the last-minute goal which kept Carlisle United in the Football League in 1999. In a ten year league career, he played for ten different clubs, including a three game loan spell at Pompey. He was drafted in by Terry Fenwick to fill the gap left by Alan Knight's suspension and an injury to his understudy, Mart Poom. Glass retired from professional football at the age of 27, and found a job as an IT salesman. He later became a taxi driver in Dorset. He lives in the Dorset village of Lytchett Matravers, with his wife, Louise, and their twins and runs a taxi business in the nearby town of Wimborne Minster.
