Birthplace: Copenhagen, Denmark

Position: Attacking midfielder

Biography: Impressed after scoring twice against the Blues in a Cup Winners' Cup tie for Copenhagen and joined the club for £350,000 plus fellow Dane Brian Laudrop. A strong right-sided midfielder, he could slot in a right back and had a powerful shot. Initially made a big impression at the Bridge but then couldn't get a regular run of games because of Gianluca Vialli's rotation policy and he was sold to Fulham. Since retiring in 2005, he has worked as a pundit on Danish television, is a registered agent and has passed his managers exam in Germany, where he also advises FC Schalke on players.
