Biography: Goram had achieved legendary status with Rangers by the time he joined United on loan from Motherwell for the title run-in during the 2000-2001 season when Fabien Barthez and Raimond van der Gouw were ruled out of action. He played two games after United were reported to have paid around £100,000 to secure his services. The former Scotland international cricketer lives in Rutherglen, Glasgow, where he runs a pub and has worked as a goalkeeping coach. He also does some after dinner speaking and attends functions for Rangers fans.
