Biography: He lost his United place after making seven first team appearances. His debut came against Burnley in October 1973. But with relegation looming, he was dumped into the reserves remaining on United's books until 1976 when he left for America and was signed by Chicago Sting, coached by former United defender Bill Foulkes. Stayed on in the States and coached youth teams for the US Soccer Federation. He now lives in Kansas City and has recovered from cancer for a second time, travels the world promoting his company, The International Soccer Program.

Griffiths, Clive I was in school with Clive and for some reason his nickname was 'Clodg' he was born in Glyncoch. I remember playing football against him. He would always let you now with a elbow in the ribs if you challenged him in the air. It was all part of the game then.
