Biography: Polish international defender with 62 caps, He joined Southampton in 2005 having failed to settle in Germany and after just 20 league appearances was allowed to join Derby County, where he also failed to settle, he then returned to Poland to play out the rest of his career playing the his last game in May 2010. Prior to joining Saints he had been fined for selling contraband cigarettes. Then in 2008 after returning to Poland he received a suspended sentence for killing a pedestrian in Lodz whilst speeding
