Hales, Derek Saw him score twice for West Ham at Norwich in 1978. An old-fashioned centre-forward - whatever happened to them?

Hales, Derek Does he still work at the Howard school? Does he remember my Dad? His cousin James Carlton?

Hales, Derek Had some great years at Charlton in the 1980's. Remember Derek doing pre-season run with a cigarette in his mouth! Good little striker though.

Hales, Derek Out of interest, not only do we share the same first name, we share the same birthday as well and I used to take my son to watch the Addicks when you were in the team. Many thanks for all those great afternoons.

Hales, Derek Hello - my dad Kenneth Peter Arthur Hales was Derek's second cousin and he was an avid Charlton supporter right up to his death 10 years ago...I remember dad telling me stories about Derek and he did not live far from the pub in Lower Halsted...he moved to Minster, Sheppey. I was wanting to get in touch with Derek to ask about our family history as I am trying to look into the Hales family tree but with no-one left to ask - I am a bit stuck...are you able to assist me? I seem to remember some family members also lived in Crawley and most came from Marden, Kent and surrounding areas. Many thanks - Carole
