Hancock, Ken Hi I’m Ken’s daughter. He is 85 now and still going strong but has dementia. However, he is still as entertaining as ever!

Hancock, Ken I lived on Belstead Road in Ipswich when Ken Hancock was goalie there in the late 60s. He sent his son who looked just like his dad to my Nursery Group as did the Ipswich Football coach, Sammy Chung. Lovely people and lovely sons!

Hancock, Ken I remember going to Liverpool with my parents when Port Vale played Liverpool. It must have been in the cup (it was a long long time ago so hopefully I remember it correctly. Port Vale held them to a draw and Ken Hancock was amazing his performance earned him big write ups in the papers next day. He was my hero.

Hancock, Ken Ken Hancock played 38 games for Northwich Victoria in the 1976/77 season in the Northern Premier League including earlier qualifying games in that seasons FA Cup. In 1977 he played against Macclesfield Town when Vic's won the Cheshire Senior Cup. He was a vocal, confident and commanding goalkeeper sometimes coming way out of his area to shout instructions to the other players attacking the opposition goal, I have seen him have to race back backwards when a long clearance threatened to produce a swift counter attack. H shared the goalkeeping position that season with former Stoke City keeper John Farmer.
